Ask for a new IRS Form W-4, Employees Withholding Allowance Certificate; if they don't file a new exemption request, you must begin withholding today. *Also, ask whether other employers want to change their withholding allowances from the prior year because of a change in circumstances (e.g., he or she had a child, bought a home, or a spouse started or lost a job).
