America's Aging Workforce

A Pew study last year noted that 93% of the growth in the workforce through 2016 will be from the age group 55 and older.

The majority (54%) of workers ages 65 and older state the main reason they work is that they want to; only 17% cite their main reason as a need for a paycheck.

Older workers have experience, skills, and good work ethic.
