FEMA announced that individuals and businesses in BK, The BX, QN, and SI who experienced damage due to Hurricane Irene are now eligible for disaster assistance (temporary housing assistance, housing repair, low interest loans, etc.).
Apply by calling the FEMA Hotline 800-621-3362 (TTY 1-800-462-7585), 7AM-10PM, seven days a week.
Register online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov or by mobile device at m.fema.gov.
