New Jersey Turnpike Authority is Hiring

Employment Applications

There are three ways to get an application for employment at the New Jersey Turnpike Authority.

1. You can pick one up in person from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at our Administration Building, which is located at 581 Main Street in Woodbridge.

2. You can request one in writing by sending your full name and return address to:
New Jersey Turnpike Authority
P.O. Box 5042
Woodbridge, NJ 07095-5042
Attention: Human Resources

3. You can download a PDF version.
Completed applications, along with any supporting documents, can be returned by mail to the P.O. box above or dropped off at the front desk of the Administration Building between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Full-Time Employment Opportunities

Part-Time Employment Opportunities

  • Part-Time Toll Collector
    • Position:Part-Time Toll Collector
    • Starting Salary:$12 per hour
    • Locations:Multiple (but will attempt to place close to home)
    • Schedule:20 hours per work week (MUST be available for rotating shifts and locations)
    • Training:Approximately 2 to 4 days of paid training

Requirements for the above positions:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must past screening test
  • Pre-employment physical, including drug screen
  • Must be bondable (pass criminal background check)
  • Must provide a valid Driver’s License, original Social Security card and a copy of High School diploma or GED
  • Must have a vehicle
